terms are available for my business?
Online, American Express offers Business Capital Loans with a minimum loan
size of $15,000 and maximum loan size of $100,000 to qualifying small
businesses. You can choose a repayment term of 24 or 36 months. For

No. However, as a Business Card member, you may be eligible for even easier
processing.

Who can apply for a
Business Capital Loan?
Any company or not-for-profit organization that has been operating for at
least two years can apply.

Is there a fee to
apply for a Business Capital Loan?
No. There is a loan origination fee of 1% of the loan amount assessed only
when your loan is approved and you decide to use the loan. The fee and any
finance charges may be tax deductible (ask your tax advisor).

Can my company have
more than one Business Capital Loan with American Express?
Yes. You can apply for additional loans when more capital is needed to
realize the potential of your business.

Will the interest
rate change?
No. The interest rate on a Business Capital Loan is fixed at an annual
rate determined when your application is approved.

Can I prepay a
Business Capital Loan?
Yes, you may prepay the entire balance due at anytime. The amount due is
calculated by adding the remaining monthly payments on your loan. This
amount is reduced by 8% if more than 12 monthly payments remain or 4% if
12 or fewer monthly payments remain.
